12/17/16 Snowfall

12/17/16
5.25
Snow beautifully fell, gracing the air with it’s picturesque ambiance! Hah, but yes indeed, this event was south/central CT’s first decent haul of the season. I officially measured 5.25 right after precip ended. Light freezing rain and a bit of sleet accounted for .25 of accumulation, 5 inches of snow. I took a nice walk around fields edged by woodsy trails near my house. I’ll upload the video above.
